Volume saving period can be automatically calculated by the DW 3050. It can measure distances up to 165ft to inside a 5/16th of an inch but in shorter distances it can come within 1/16in. You'll need a goal plate to find numbers when measuring distances from 131ft into 165ft. Indirect height measurements can be obtained using Pythagoras.
